It's going to be a month since she is born, and we still have no clue about what she should be named.
I got fed up calling her baby after 2-3 days and gave her a pet name for a time being - Pari. I hope she likes it.
:-)
Meanwhile, I am frantically googling for a name, which would fancy both of us. We want a name which would be
1. unique (ok, kinda unique)
2. exotic
3. easily pronounceable by most of the world (must)
4. meaningful (if possible)
5. not too long
6. not too short
7. geeky
8. 1337
9. easy with her surname - Sood
Ok, the list seems to be never ending. It's kinda hard to fancy both of us. Any way, with all this in mind, I tried to search for a name. Usual baby name sites are good, but the names they provide don't meet 7 and 8 criteria. There are some weird sites as well, which generate names randomly.
So far we have got only couple of names. I am still contemplating over "Python". Then there would be three of us - gnu, tiger and python.
:-P
Damn, never thought that it would be so difficult to name a person after all.

Python, eh ? Sounds like the makings of an interesting childhood and adolescence, right there.
Ruby!!
Are you considering only Indian names? There are some pronounceable arabic ones with nice meanings that you might like. Drop me a line if you're interested.
Would beat naming the kid after a programming language. However, if you *do* plan to do that, python's definitely better than perl. :)
How about the name "Rizla"...Its fun, addictive, sexy and what not?
Do see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rizla
